Shary Boyle

I've been discovering lots of new artists on tumblr! Shary Boyle boasts a diverse portfolio of sculpture, paintings, and illustrations...but in my opinion she has really mastered porcelain! This piece in particular is amazing, even though it kinda freaks me out! I wouldn't say I'm afraid of spiders...they just make me rather uncomfortable!

    Her work is fabulous, isn't it?

    I stumbled across her a couple years ago and she's been an absolute fave of mine ever since. Her pieces are so elegant and enchanting as well as being dark and disturbing. Love it.

    I can't remember where I first found Shary Boyle's work, but a LOT of her pieces have really stuck with me! She gets major points not only for her awesome characters, but also for working in a medium that most wouldn't think of.
