Leonor Fini (August 30, 1907 – January 18, 1996) Surrealist...Sensualist...
“She is magnificent, perturbing, mocking enigmatic, terrible and compassionate. She is Leonor Fini; painter of the surreal, illustrator of books, theater. Her art is the crack in the mirror, the edge of the equation, the dream of tremendous important half-grasped upon awakening, whose meaning dissolves with daylight.” - Catherine Styles McLeod

Thanks for the Leonor Fini post--have just been perusing a good sized monograph on her work (happily found in the library here in Nantes, France). It contains quite a few less widely recognized images including a most otherworldly Ophelia figure that is especially gorgeous.
Just stumbled across your blog and am loving it.. Your bathroom mood board is great, cheers for the inspiration.
