To whom it may concern,
It has been brought to my attention that people are photoshopping images found on my blog and elsewhere on the internet. The artwork below for example was something that I commissioned artist Nikki Pinder to do in 2007. She made a matching banner for my blog which at the time was called "Lady Lavona's Gypsy Soup". All artwork (commissions & collaborations) found on my blog, ect. with my name on it is owned by me and is protected under copyright laws the artist possesses.

Copyright infringement is running rampant these days. Frightening.
Theft and plagiarism on the internet is, indeed, running rampant. I've had issues myself, so I completely sympathize.

As much as I despise them I'd reccomend a Watermark M'lady.It's the only way to protect your work.

Watermark it or do not publish it online. The internet is public domain and it is exactly the freedom to use, copy and share information in whatever form it can be found on the internet that makes it such a great tool. I think we need to change our mindset and accept the fact that copyright laws are entirely useless and/or obsolete in this medium. As an artist I have given quite some thought to how best protect my work when posted on my websites and blogs, but I gave up the effort. Why fight an unwinnable battle? Now I look at it this way: whenever anyone uses any of my images or comments, it is the ultimate compliment.
