Colette Calascione
I was browsing around Wurzeltod, admiring Suzanne's fancy new layout, and I came across a painting by Colette Calascione. Then I realized how long it had been since I had a look at her portfolio so I followed the link to her website...Oh Desire, will you ever leave me be? This painting really belongs hanging in my boudoir...

Hm...that image is taken from a Max Ernst collage, right?
It's from Max Ernst's fabulous 'Une Semaine de Bonté'. I have the book a highly recommend it if you're interested in that Surrealist style.

Thank you!
She has definately been inspired by Max Ernst's collage novel "Une Semaine de Bonté. He has a whole book with collages like this. And there is one in particular with the eact same motiv. She has just altered a bit. See link: http://oneshadegray.blogspot.com/2009/09/une-semaine-de-bonte.html
